Today, some corporations integrate virtual world in their learning program. For instance, the article IBM Learning Programs Get a "Second life" by Ed Frauenheim addresses how IBM used virtual world to advance its agenda. In that article, experts say that virtual worlds offers two main advantages:
1- expedition of the orientation
2- improvement in the mentoring

Ted Hoff says "New IBM employees separated by thousands of miles will be able to mingle, interact and share ideas in the virtual world before their first day on the job". Clearly, virtual worlds offer competive advantage to big companies who can train their employees very well by reducing time and space dimension.
On the other hand, virtual worlds constitute a danger because some worrie that they can be used to launder money and also promote the activities of criminals.
These new technologies play a significant role in corporate communications although the extend of their use is not fully understand. They continue to promote new ways of doing business.
